About the Ram 1500.
The Ram 1500 has the smoothest ride in the half-ton class — the coil-spring rear suspension makes a real difference if you drive a truck daily on rough roads (and most of south Mississippi qualifies). What to watch for on a used Ram 1500.
Some HEMIs from 2014–2019 had MDS (cylinder deactivation) lifter issues — listen for ticking. Air suspension on higher trims is great when it works but can be expensive when it doesn't, so prefer trucks without it unless you really want it. CARFAX is included on every Ram on our lot.
