The MT342HC is the entry point into our LS cab lineup — a 42 HP diesel on a hydrostatic transmission, wrapped in a factory-sealed cab with heat and air. It gives up a little horsepower to the MT347HC but costs less to get into, which makes it the pick for buyers who want cab comfort on a smaller acreage. The Cat I hitch lifts 2,755 pounds — enough for a mid-size rotary cutter or a loaded box blade — and we pair it with the LL3003 loader, 2,506 pounds of lift on a 66-inch bucket. Ordered on R14 radials for a smoother ride than bare ag tires. If you want out of the weather without stepping up to the bigger cab tractors, this is the size that does it.
