Who This Setup Doesn't Fit

If you're mowing under 50 acres of border a year and the terrain is mostly smooth, the ISX 800 is more machine than the work requires. The 300S with a 52" deck handles lighter-duty farm perimeter work well at a lower price.

If the operation is primarily open pasture mowing rather than rough crop borders, you can often get away with a mid-tier commercial unit and save the budget for something else on the farm.
