Why Wiggins Buyers Drive to Collins
Wiggins is the Stone County seat, ringed by the DeSoto National Forest on the way down toward the Coast. Stone County is national forest, hobby farms and homesites cut out of the pines, so lots run from two acres to forty and the grass is mostly around the house and the pond. Stone County owners spend more time on trails, fire lanes and wooded edges than on open fields, so they ask about rear cutters, narrow implements and a loader tractor that fits between the trees. Stone County lots are wooded and uneven around the house, which suits a 500S better than a mower built for open ground.
Our lot at 3069 Hwy 49 is 64.2 road miles southeast of Wiggins, about 1 hr 19 min by car. Call ahead and we will have a mower staged so the trip is one stop.
