Why Picayune Buyers Drive to Collins
Picayune is the largest town in Pearl River County, on I-59 near the Stennis Space Center and the Louisiana line. Pearl River County mixes suburban lots on the edge of the Slidell commute with larger tracts of pine and pasture, so yards are big and the mowing is serious. Picayune owners deal with big grass yards and wet low spots near the Pearl River, so zero-turns, mid-size tractors and a box blade for drainage work come up in most conversations. Picayune lots are big suburban yards and commercial accounts, so crews lean on the ISX 800 for speed across flat ground.
Our lot at 3069 Hwy 49 is 88.1 road miles south of Picayune, about 1 hr 41 min by car. Call ahead and we will have a mower staged so the trip is one stop.
