Why Forest Buyers Drive to Collins
Forest is the Scott County seat on I-20, a poultry town at the edge of the Bienville National Forest. Scott County is poultry houses, pasture and timber, so growers mow big yards around the houses and keep fence lines and pond dams clear. Poultry growers around Forest keep the grounds around each house mowed and the gravel drives graded, and they want equipment that can run a long day without fuss. The yards around poultry houses are wide, flat and mowed every week, which is where a 61-inch deck pays for itself.
Our lot at 3069 Hwy 49 is 58.2 road miles north of Forest, about 1 hr 25 min by car. Call ahead and we will have a mower staged so the trip is one stop.
