Why Ellisville Buyers Drive to Collins
Ellisville is one of the two county seats of Jones County, the Free State of Jones country just south of Laurel. Ellisville-area land is pine plantation, hay meadow and cattle pasture, the kind of ground where a loader tractor earns its keep hauling bales and a rotary cutter keeps the fence rows open. Many Ellisville-area owners also run a few acres of food plot or a pond bank, so the first purchase is often a compact tractor with a loader and a rear cutter, and the second is an implement to match. Hay meadows and pine-edge pastures reward a mower with suspension, which is why the ISX line sells well in Jones County.
Our lot at 3069 Hwy 49 is 26.1 road miles east of Ellisville, about 33 minutes by car. Call ahead and we will have a mower staged so the trip is one stop.
