Why Bogalusa Buyers Drive to Collins
Bogalusa is the largest town in Washington Parish, a paper-mill town on the Pearl River just across the Louisiana line. Washington Parish is pine plantation, dairy and beef pasture and small acreage, and east Louisiana owners cross the Pearl River to buy from a dealer that will service what it sells. Washington Parish owners run pasture, pine and river bottom, and a number of them already cross into Mississippi to trade, so the drive to Collins is a familiar one. East Louisiana mowing crews and parish landowners cross the line for a commercial mower they can get serviced.
Our lot at 3069 Hwy 49 is 83.9 road miles south of Bogalusa, about 1 hr 44 min by car. Call ahead and we will have a mower staged so the trip is one stop.
